Good Text-to-Speech

I used the Text-to-Speech for a short project. It worked fine. Quality was good for what I needed. Easy to use the interface. Got my audio fast.

Solid Voice Cloning Experience

I tried out the Personal Voice Cloning service, since I needed a consistent voice for some short training modules. Uploading my voice sample was straightforward. The cloning process itself took about a day, which was acceptable. The resulting voice was pretty accurate; it captured my tone and speaking pace well. Exporting the high-fidelity audio was simple enough. I did have a quick question about character limits for batch processing, and support got back to me within a few hours. Overall, a good experience for what I paid.

Reliable for Podcast Voices

This is my third time using Fish Audio, mostly for Podcast AI Voices and some Narrator Voices. I keep coming back because it's always consistent. The voice quality is reliable, and the emotion control synthesis has improved a lot since my first time using it months ago. Delivery is usually quick; I submit a script and get the audio back within an hour or two, which is great for my deadlines. I've also tried their multi-language voice synthesis for a small side project, and that worked better than I expected. They're definitely my go-to for voice generation now.

Is Fish Audio really free to use, or is it just like a trial with very limited features?

E Elizabeth T. 1 month ago
It's free to try, but you get limited credits. Enough to mess around and see how it works, but you'll need a paid plan for serious use.

B Brittany Roberts 1 month ago
You get some free credits to start, yeah. Lets you test out the tech before committing. Definitely not fully free for ongoing projects though.

What kind of output formats can you get from Fish Audio? Need to know if it'll integrate easily with my editing software.

A Alex Gomez 2 days ago
Mostly standard audio formats, like WAV and MP3. Pretty universal for editing. I've never had a problem importing into different DAWs.

N Nick Adams 2 days ago
They offer high-fidelity exports, so you should be fine. WAV and MP3 are usually there.

Anyone know if Fish Audio does those Black Friday sales? I'm looking to get a yearly subscription but wanna wait if there's a good deal coming up.

N Nathan Roberts 2 days ago
They definitely do. I snagged a pretty sweet discount last Black Friday. Worth holding out for if you're not in a rush.

I think they usually have something around the holidays, like Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Keep an eye on their site then.

I'm a student and wondering if Fish Audio offers any student discounts. Would be super helpful for my projects!

R Rachel Lopez 1 month ago
I've heard people mention student discounts for Fish Audio. Might be worth checking their FAQ or just hitting up their support.

Hey, thinking about trying Fish Audio for some voiceovers. Does anyone know if their commercial usage rights are straightforward? Don't want to get into any trouble down the line.

B Betty 4 weeks ago
Yeah, it's pretty clear. I've used stuff I made with it for client projects and never had an issue. Just check their terms, they spell it out.

From what I remember, you're good for commercial stuff once you're on a paid plan. Free tier has some limits obviously, but the subscriptions cover it.

How does Fish Audio compare to ElevenLabs in terms of voice quality and cloning? Been using ElevenLabs but open to switching if Fish Audio is better.

J Justin W. 1 month ago
Fish Audio's voice cloning is really impressive, especially with the emotion control. For natural-sounding speech, I'd say it's on par, maybe even a bit more nuanced in some areas than ElevenLabs.

B Brian Anderson 1 month ago
I think Fish Audio has a slight edge on the emotion stuff, but ElevenLabs has a huge voice library. Depends what you need more.

Anyone able to get their voice cloned in multiple languages with Fish Audio? Need something for localization and wondering how well it performs.

A Anthony Scott 1 week ago
Yeah, Fish Audio supports multi-language synthesis. I've used it for a couple of different languages and the results were surprisingly good, especially with a good source voice.

A Adam 4 days ago
I haven't done voice cloning specifically, but their multi-language text-to-speech works pretty well. I'd imagine the cloning would extend to that too, given their tech.
